The Many Faces of Reproducibility is a three-year project supported by the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota involving an interdisciplinary exploration of different facets of reproducibility across the social, behavioral, and natural sciences. It aims to address concerns about a “reproducibility crisis” that have led scientists, funding sources, and the public to question the value of scientific research. Researchers from the University of Minnesota with diverse disciplinary expertise will engage in activities such as Discussion Groups, Public Events, Symposia, and Workshops to advance scholarship on reproducibility (Publications), develop innovative approaches for training researchers, and engage different constituencies regarding when and why it is appropriate rely on scientific claims.
